Event Announcement: October Train-The-Trainers

ILS will be hosting the bi-annual, FREE Train-the-Trainers event in Knoxville, Tennessee from October 7th until October 9th. Dr. Ernest Cadotte, the author of the Marketplace and Marketplace Live business simulations, will lead this training seminar for current or upcoming Marketplace instructors. With the help of the development and support teams, participants are exposed to several decision rounds of the Conscious Capitalism simulation, our newest Marketplace Live addition. As well, participants are given a general overview of the simulation pedagogy, grading, and instructor software. We discuss various learning strategies and tactics that have proven successful with other faculty. Attendees will be provided meals throughout the training event. There is also a fun beach volleyball game at the welcome reception on Sunday evening. This is a great way to get to know the Marketplace staff, as well as some new faces in academia. If you are interested in participating, or would like more information on this event, please email Sean Mullins at [email protected] or call +1-865-522-1946.
