The on-site intensive course is conducted by a Marketplace team, which consists of a skilled Marketplace instructor and a technical support person. Participants form teams, and are designated staging areas that include maps, charts, tactical outlines, and other useful tools that enhance the competitive business environment. We provide presentations at strategic points within the course to help the players understand key concepts. These presentations include question and answer sessions where participants often gain much insight from one another.

The advantage of the intensive on-site setup is that it requires the total immersion into the learning process. It is ideal for quick and deep learning. More...

Internet-delivered course

The on-line course is the ideal solution if you need your managers to participate in the training from different locations. The entire exercise can be delivered over the Internet. Our on-line simulations include step-by-step instructions that guide the participants through the learning process, without much need for any outside assistance. With the virtual team feature, Marketplace allows the participants to work from different locations as a team.

The advantages of the distance-learning format:

low cost - no travel expenses;

convenience - participants can work to their own schedules;

productivity - less time away from work.

The simulation training materials can also be accessed directly from the Internet. Participants can view and listen to the instructor's presentations and software demonstrations. Key learning points can be easily introduced and demonstrated.

Hybrid courses are also possible using a combination of seminar and Internet delivery. Typically, one day might be used to kick off the exercise and establish the learning fundamentals. Then most of the simulation could be conducted over the Internet. The exercise could conclude with a one-day series of debriefing, lectures and an awards ceremony.
