The focus of the workshop is on hands-on learning for faculty and trainers. You will participate in a midlevel Marketplace simulation and experience everything that your students experience. In short, you will walk in your students’ shoes for two days in order to understand the simulation from the inside.
And, at strategic times, we will depart from the student format and discuss best practices and how to get the most out of the Web Instructor. We will also review how to create games, monitor student activities and performance, and coach your students to success. Plus, you can ask questions, making sure that you are able to design the right classroom experience for your particular situation.
Our next workshop will be April 7 and 8, 2008, with a reception on April 6. If you would like to sign up or you need to know more about it, contact Jeanine Schmierbach.
We are currently working on setting dates for the fall Train The Trainers session. You can visit our Train The Trainers webpage to view these once they are confirmed.
