Ken Lonseth joined the ILS team in early 2007. Ken is helping to bring Marketplace to the next level with 3D environments, fully articulated characters, and movies. This multimedia approach will help engage the players while enhancing their learning experience. Ken is very excited to be working with the ILS team for the next few years, adding to and improving on the family of Marketplace simulations. Prior to ILS, Ken worked at NuMarkets LLC as an in-house graphic designer and marketing person. Here, he created all of their promotional materials and advertising campaigns. In the 1990's Ken was a commercial commuter pilot before deciding on pursuing a career in art. He studied art and motion graphics at Middle Tennessee State University and then moved to Knoxville, TN in 2003. He has lived here ever since. In addition to art and design, Ken's main hobbies include running and mountain biking in the Smokey Mountain area. He dreams of one day running the Machu Picchu marathon in Peru as well as other exotic races around the world.
