Player Movement Procedures

It always seems that some student will end up on the wrong team. Or there is a need to better balance a team by adding players or players with different skills. Regardless of the reason, it is always nice to know how to move players around in a game or between games. Here is the procedure:

Accessing the Web Instructor:

  1. Go to: www.marketplace6.com
  2. Click on the "Sign in as instructor" link
  3. Enter your instructor email address and password.

Moving a Player:

  1. Click on the <Game Name> link for the game you wish to edit. The screen will switch to show the teams in that particular game.
  2. Click on the <Show players> link several columns to the right of the “Company” name you wish to edit. A new window will open to show all the players in that particular team.
  3. Click on the <Move Player> link in the last column to the right of the “Player’s Name” you wish to move. The screen will now show the players current information and let you select where you want to move the player.
  4. Select one of the movement options.
    • To move the player to another team within the same game, click on the <Team # - Company Name> link for the team you wish to move the player to.
    • To move the player to a different game, click on the <Select Another Game> link. The screen will now show the other active games in your account. Click on the <Game name> link. You will be taken back to the original screen in this step (step #4). Now click on the <Team # - Company Name> link for the team where the player is to be moved.
  5. Confirm the movement information listed on screen, and click on the <Move> button to save the change. If you need to change the movement decision you can use the <Select Another Game> link to go back to step #4, or the <Close> button to cancel the process.
  6. The screen will display a confirmation message. Click on the <Close> button to exit the window.

The student will be logged into the new team the next time they sign in.
