50,000 Marketplace Users and Counting
Web Marketplace has grown
rapidly since the inception of Innovative Learning Solutions, Inc.
In four short years, more than 50,000 people have benefited from
Marketplace training. In 2005 alone, we expect to have more than
20,000 students and executives enroll in a Marketplace simulation,
a steady growth of approximately 5,000 people each year.
Software Improvements
We have made numerous upgrades
to our software. Some will be obvious at first glance. Others will
be less so, but are no less important. In all, we hope these upgrades
will make the current game more enjoyable and even easier to incorporate
into your classes.
New Simulations
Not only have we upgraded every current game, but new
simulations and difficulty levels are also available. These
games are custom designed for a variety of students, from beginners
to graduates, and focus on some of the unique elements of 21st century
management.
Here are the new simulations:
- Business Fundamentals (beta)

- Intro to Business and Strategy

- Strategy and Business Policy

- Advanced Strategic Corporate Management

- International Corporate Management with Outsourcing

- Supply Chain Management (alpha)

Polish Marketplace Competition
The first Marketplace competition
between Polish universities was a success. Held this past spring,
thirty teams from across Poland competed against each other in the
first-ever, all-Poland Marketplace simulation. Culminating in an
awards ceremony in late September, the competition was fierce but
friendly, and the winning team was composed of five students from
Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu.
New Support Staff
ILS has added three new staff members - Melissa
Knuckles, Richard
Mann, and Robin
Johnson. Melissa and Richard joined us in mid-summer. They both
now work with Sean as tech-support specialists. Richard also helps
Jano with system administration and infrastructure improvements.
Robin will coordinate the partnership and new business development
efforts.
Our European Service and Development Center
ILS has partnered
with eBridge s.r.o. to provide better support in Europe and
Asia. Two ILS veterans, Jozef Briss and Peter Kolciter, will be
providing the service at times better suited to the European and
Asian markets. While providing this support, the Jozef and Peter
eBridge s.r.o. team will work with the Knoxville team to continue
to further develop Marketplace software.
Expanded Technical Support Hours
We are upgrading our technical
support with the addition of new staff and longer hours.
Personal Tour of Marketplace for Potential
Adopters
Would you like a personal
tour of any of our Marketplace simulations or our Web Instructor
software? Our staff is ready to take you by the hand and guide you
through any of our many simulations, and you never have to leave
your office. We do it all over the web.
Enhanced Performance and Reliability
We have enhanced
our system performance and reliability with the addition of
new staff, longer hours, backup servers and the upgrading of all
our hardware.
