Marketplace Team software download version 5.5

Marketplace Team software requires Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000.

STEP 1. Download the version 5.5 installation file and save it on your hard disk.

In most web browsers, when you click on the link above, you will be prompted to specify where you want the file to be saved on your hard disk. If you just click the <Save> button, the file is saved to a default location on your hard drive and you may have problems finding it. We recommend typing "C:\Windows\Temp\install.exe" when prompted for the destination directory. Exit the web browser after the download is complete.

STEP 2. Run the installation on your computer.

If you followed the recommendation in the previous paragraph, click the <Start> button in the Windows task bar and choose the <Run> command. Type in: "C:\Windows\Temp\install.exe" and click <OK>. Windows will start the Marketplace installation program which will guide you through the installation process.

When the installation is finished, you may delete the "install.exe" file from the directory "C:\Windows\Temp".

Floppy Disk Installation

This option allows you to install the Marketplace software on computers that are not connected to the Internet. The computers must have a floppy disk drive.

STEP 1. Download the installation file and save it on your hard disk.

In most web browsers, when you click on the link above, you will be prompted to specify where you want the file to be saved on your hard disk. We recommend typing "C:\Windows\Temp\marketplace5.exe" when prompted for the destination directory. Exit the web browser after the download is complete.

STEP 2. Run the installation program on your computer.

The installation program will decompress itself in 6 smaller installation files ( install.exe, install.w02, ... install.w06) which will each fit on one 1.44MB floppy disk.

If you followed the recommendation in the previous paragraph, click the <Start> button in the Windows task bar and choose the <Run> command. Type in: "C:\Windows\Temp\marketplace5.exe" and click <Ok>. This will decompress the Marketplace installation file into the same directory where it was downloaded.

STEP 3. Prepare the floppy disk installation.

Copy each of the 6 files on a blank IBM formatted 1.44MB floppy disk.

STEP 4. Run the floppy disk installation on a computer without Internet connection.

Run the "install.exe" file on the first floppy disk and follow instructions on the screen. The installation program will prompt you for the 4 remaining floppy disks to complete the installation.

When you have finished preparing the installation on the floppy disks, you may delete the files "marketplace5.exe", "install.exe", .. "install.w06" from the directory "C:\Windows\Temp".
